In order to launch a new website, you will need to purchase a website address to put in the search bar called a domain name ending in .com, .org, .net, etc. If you don’t already have a domain name, I can help you get one, but any costs of purchasing one will need to be billed to you directly, because you will own the domain name, not JJ Web Design.

Web hosting providers such as GoDaddy, BlueHost, SiteGround, NameCheap, WPEngine, etc. offer server storage space for your website data.

When you host your site on a server, you obtain what is called an IP address.

Think of a domain name like a family name. The family lives at a street address. Now, let’s say this address has a custom built home and a rustic barn in the backyard. This shelter and storage space provides the family a place for people, animals, and personal belongings. Similarly, web hosting provides you an IP address and storage space for every bit of data associated with your website.

The nature of our custom services means each website is uniquely priced. The monthly cost after launching is $79/mo, which includes web hosting. Please call us or email us about the work you need done.

Each support package is essentially a situational hiring for JJ WEB DESIGN to maintain, revise, or re-design your website. Discounts are available for annual commitments, a cost-effective solution for recurring website maintenance.

If you want a hands-off maintenance experience, choose the Maintenance Package. It includes compatibility updates, the latest security updates, and backups for your website, as well as experienced recommendations to improve your online customers’ experience.

If you want revision support or full re-design support, then choose the Revision or Re-Design Packages.

The simplest way to make revisions to your existing website is by emailing me the website content you want to post (text, photos, etc.) and instructions for the revisions you would like to make.

If you need help generating professional visuals and content for your website, we can help with that too at a custom price.

If you are Re-Designing your existing website, simply email the general specifications of what you would like to see created for your website. We also do conference calls to facilitate collaborative efforts. We always work with you to get the end-result you are looking for.

In general, an initial phone call helps begin the project, and email correspondence acts as a good paper-trail for the website development.

Note: The Revision Package includes every feature in the Maintenance Package and the Design Package includes both lower-tier package features and more.

Support packages are for existing website owners.

Perhaps you need website maintenance and security and backups performed on your website (see Maintenance Package), or you have an out-dated website needing revisions or a whole re-design (see Support packages).

JJ Web Design will be your dedicated digital marketing and design support to get the job done when you purchase the appropriate support package.

We offer a Maintenance Package that services your website monthly with security, compatibility, and plugin updates to keep your site secure, running, and without errors. We also perform regular backups of your website to keep all your data safe when you ask to purchase our maintenance package.

Every website we design is mobile-friendly. If we revise your existing website, rather than designing it from scratch, we can also update your entire website to be mobile-friendly if it is not already.

“Mobile-First” design is also an available option. Our Mobile-First design option optimizes a website primarily for mobile first, and larger screen sizes are accommodated as secondary. The reverse is true for mobile-friendly design; the design is prioritizes desktop devices first and mobile devices second.

Note: There are many different mobile device screen sizes in use these days, so we cannot test the website for every single device size. However, that is not an excuse to not create a truly mobile compatible website. If we overlook an incompatibility with a particular mobile device or screen size that you bring to our attention, we will resolve the issue carefully.
